YO! Belfast Victoria Square
Welcome to YO! Belfast Victoria Square, a vibrant addition to Belfast's culinary scene located at Unit 26, 1 Victoria Square. This lively venue seamlessly blends traditional Japanese dining with modern convenience, offering a unique experience for sushi lovers and casual diners alike.
At YO!, diners can enjoy the thrill of choosing their meals from a moving conveyor belt, a fun and engaging way to sample a variety of sushi dishes. The ambiance is friendly and welcoming, with dedicated staff who are eager to enhance your dining experience. Many customers, like Ana Baird and Chloe M, have praised the fresh and delightful sushi options, highlighting dishes like the avocado, cucumber, and tomato rolls, as well as the mouth-watering sashimi that “melts in your mouth.”
Some patrons have noted that the restaurant sits at an affordable price point compared to other Japanese eateries, making high-quality sushi accessible to a wider audience. Yet, as Becky Davage pointed out, the extensive vegan options available cater well to those with dietary restrictions without compromising on flavor.
One of the standout features is the fresh, made-to-order meals, especially the noodles and salmon dishes. While some reviews have mentioned minor issues with service, the overall sentiment reflects a place where exquisite flavors meet a lively atmosphere.

We had to call times to finally get a table here. The st time we were told they were only taken online reservations and nd time it took nearly mins for staff to notice us waiting and they were not really busy. The sushi was really lovely, tasty and freshly made. There's one with avocado, cucumber, onion and tomato which was delicious The main dish was nice but could have done better with a little bit of sauce.

Great place. They've got the novelty of the conveyors going again (due to COVID, you could only order sushi from your phone to be served to you but this seems to be deprecated now), so you can pick whatever you fancy straight away. Everything is cooked fresh and to perfection. I already had my fill not long after. I've been here a good few times before, and in my honest opinion, they've improved significantly.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian-friendly dishes are indicated with a leaf symbol.Dietary restrictions: They will offer alternatives to those with allergies. Dishes that are spicy are clearly labelled (on the menu)Parking: Victoria has it's own parking lot, but I got here by foot therefore I do not have exact knowledge on it.Kid-friendliness: Dedicated kids menu.

This place is between fast food and restaurant food. It’s a bit cheaper than other Japanese restaurants but still quite expensive. We got noodles with salmon and pieces of salmon were small and the temperature of food was colder than we expected. Salmon sashimi was good, fish was freshThe most significant thing in this place is conveyor belt what makes you able to catch a dish you like to eat.Waiting and cooking stuff are very polite and kind.Vegetarian options: Menu has labels on vegeterian positions and for me surprised, you can try vegetarian duck.Wheelchair accessibility: The entry and dining space are located on the ground floor with no stairs.
